Kathryn is survived by her Husband, Philip S. Thompson, II, Father, Joseph E. Fichter, Brother, Nick J. Fichter; and a host of other family members and friends.
Kathryn enjoyed scientific research, riding bicycles, swimming, mentoring other scientists, camping, hiking. But most of all spending time with her family and friends, and pets.
Services are being held at the conveniences of the family.
