Stone, Kathy L. age 54, of Hillsboro, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023. She was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on November 7, 1968 to John Stone and Yvonne Abercrombie (nee Hurt).
She was preceded in death by her father, John Stone and uncle, Ralph Hurt. Kathy is survived by her beloved mother, Yvonne Abercrombie; siblings, Patricia (Luther Seay) Simpson, Lisa (Brian Newman) Svatba, Mary Puckett, Sumer (Joshwa Sloan) Carr and Brian (Sarah) Long; nephew, Christopher (Joanna) Zerhusen; niece, Nichole Hensley; great-nephew, Hunter Carr; aunts, Betty Jo (Richard) Gordon, Norma Egbert and Wanda Hurt; uncle, James Arthur Hurt; and a host of other family members and friends.
Kathy loved spending time at the casino and playing BINGO. She even worked at a BINGO hall for many years. She loved the beach, dolphins and any kind of animal. She never met a stranger and would quite literally give the shirt off her back to help someone in need.
In loving memory of Kathy, contributions may be made to Newcomer Funeral Home to offset funeral costs. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm with a service to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
