Katie Mae Percell, age 78, of Forest Park, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was born in Lamar County, Georgia on April 24, 1943 to Jesse James and Mattie Kate Jefferson (nee Bymes).
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clayton Dale Williams; sisters, Doris Clisby, and Iona Ruth Hayes.
Katie is survived by her beloved son, Charles (Barbara) Williams; grandchildren, Crystal D. (Donyale Bryant) Wooley, , Tamala M. (Miles Flanigan) Williams, Charles D. (Sherita) Williams, III, Tiffany C. (Larry) Wright, Madina D. Williams, Anthony D. Williams, Erin Rodgers, Charisma D. Williams, Cierra Williams, and Rico R. Robinson; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Willie (Ruth) Watts; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Katie, contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness group, "I Have Wings".
Family and friends may gather on Friday, July 30th, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, from 11:30AM to 12:30PM. The funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 12:30PM. Burial will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
