Kenneth Bruce Grove

Grove, Kenneth Bruce age 91, of Latonia, Kentucky passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on May 2, 1933 to the late Walter Grove and Alma Payne (nee Stevenson).

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Roberta Scheid and his beloved wife of 70 years, Lois Grove (nee Bennett). Kenneth is survived by his beloved sons, Jeff Grove, Gary (Esther) Grove, Jay (Gina) Grove and Tracy (Shannon) Grove; grandchildren, Prakaykarn, Werakul, Rachel, Savannah, Gabriella, Zachary, Brady, Megan and Mallory; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Ken worked for over 40 years with Western Union. He started out delivering telegrams on his bicycle and worked his way up, ending his career as an electrical technician. He spent his winters in Florida with Lois soaking up the sunshine where he lived a very active lifestyle. Some of his favorite outdoor activities included visiting national parks, camping, playing recreational softball well into his eighties, tennis, golf and pickleball and boating on Lake Cumberland. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 3285 Mills Rd., Taylor Mill, Kentucky 41015. Burial will take place immediately following at Mother of God Cemetery, 3125 Madison Ave, Latonia, KY 41015.
