Kerry Ann Jackson, born September 15th 1986, became one with the Force on January 31st 2023 after a brief but intense fight with liver disease. She was preceded in death by her mother Norma Jackson (Sachs) and her sisters; Holly and Heather. She is survived by her loving fiance Matthew Shuck, her two children; Sadie and Lucas Jackson, and her siblings; Jamie, Edward, and Jessica Jackson and her father, William.
Kerry was a sister and a best friend. She was always there in the middle of the night when you needed to talk. Ready with words of encouragement or a stupid joke to make you laugh, whichever was needed.
She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking new things or trying out different ideas. Cooking for her family was one of the ways she showed she cared. You could not go to her house without her making you something to eat.
She was stubborn, but caring and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She was the peacemaker, always encouraging her family to get along. Kerry was the brave one.
How do you sum up somebody's life in a paragraph?
Kerry didn't want her struggle to be meaningless. She said to look at her as an example and take better care of yourself. Make positive changes in your life. Quit smoking, give up drinking, but most of all don't take the time we have for granted. That's the kind of person Kerry was, loving. Even so close to the end she was still looking out for everyone else.
Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio (45211) from 12 Noon until the service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
