Kevin Mark Hampton, II age 44, formerly of Bracken County, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 after a long, hard fight with advanced stage diabetes. He was born in Batavia, Ohio on January 27, 1978 to Kevin M. Hampton and Julie Robke (nee Rolph).
Kevin is survived by his beloved wife, Vicki Hampton (nee Murphy); mother, Julie (Mark) Robke; father, Kevin M. Hampton, I; children, Kevin Hampton, III, Leah (Matt) Orick and Abby (Tyler) Naylor; grandchildren, Madalynn Shilts and James Naylor; brother, Tim Robke; sisters, Heather (Jason) Shields and Elizabeth Hampton; loyal companions, Hank Hampton and Marshall Murphy; and a host of other family members and friends.
Kevin was an avid RC car enthusiast. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time four-wheeling, fishing and camping at Red River Gorge. He loved all animals and had a passion for food and food television. Kevin was also a 50's music aficionado. He thoroughly enjoyed his career as a diesel mechanic. He didn't know a stranger and could make friends anywhere.
In loving memory of Kevin, memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm with a service to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
