The Larkin Family celebrates with great joy, the home going of Kimberly Ann Larkin (45 years of age). With God's love, strength and encouragement, Kim bravely battled Multiple Sclerosis (MS) since 1977. She answered our Father's call to come home on Friday, March 30, 2012.
Kimberly is the beloved daughter of Mary and Ike Larkin, Jr. She was the adored sister of Lynn, Veronica, Rosemary, Jacqueline (Bryon Farr), Myron Larkin, Steffanie Torlop, Tirrell and Joyce Larkin. Kim was the loving aunt of many nephews and one niece.
Kimberly graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 1985 and from the University of Cincinnati in 1999 with a BS in Physical Fitness and a BS in Nutrition. Her hobbies included fitness, salsa dancing and speaking Spanish. The former led to employment in the fitness industry. Kimberly enjoyed competing in local body building competitions and loved to spend time with her niece and nephews.
She found Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. She later united with Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, June 20, 1999, under the pastorate of Pastor J. R. Chisley. Kim attended Sunday school, was a member of the Pastor's Aid, and was a faithful tither. Her faith in Christ helped her through her battle with MS.
