Krista Ann Kohl

Krista Ann Kohl, a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend passed away in the comfort of her home on Saturday, July 1st 2023 after a long battle with epilepsy and related conditions. She is survived by her mother Mary Stein and father John Stein, children Ethan and Eliza Kohl and siblings Jason Rabe, Kelly (Matt) Gauvey and Kerri (Adam) Wilson.

Krista was a highly decorated educator and mentor in the Boone County school district for more than 20 years. Her love for forensics and her students was remarkable. The number of those students whose lives she changed because she helped them find their own voice couldn't be measured. She loved all things glitter and everything Barry Manilow. She knew better than anyone that all the world was a stage and she was always prepared to play her part. She treasured all animals and was an active foster parent and volunteer at the Ohio Alleycat Resource (OAR). Services will be held privately with Krista's family.
