Kurt William Maurer, Jr.

Kurt William Maurer, Jr., a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home in Hebron, Kentucky, on January 21, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on November 20, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kurt was known for his kind heart, humor, laid-back demeanor, and simple, caring nature. His warm spirit touched the lives of many, and his memory will forever be treasured by those who knew him.

For 21 wonderful years, Kurt was married to his beloved wife, Terri Maurer (nee Wood). Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. Kurt is survived by his children, Trey (Anna) Maurer, Katie Maurer; Sam (Anna) Miller, and Adam Reilly. He also leaves behind his dear sisters, Chris Kahles and Linda May, along with numerous grandchildren.

Kurt had a passion for golf, often finding joy and solace on the green. His ability to carve out laughter and kindness in every interaction created a legacy that will endure among friends and family alike. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Maurer (nee Brown) and Kurt William Maurer, Sr.
