Larry Gene Friend
July 24, 1942 — February 11, 2023
Friend, Larry Gene age 80, of Latonia, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on July 24, 1942 to George E. and Rosalee Friend (nee Mitchell).
Larry is survived by his grandchildren, Hope R. Thompson, Gabrielle Jewell, and Christian Jewell; great-grandchildren, Rihlynn, Roenyn, Jaxton, and Josie'Lynn; family members, Natalie O'Banion, Donna Scott; and a host of other family members and friends.
Larry proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. His favorite hobby was going to the racetrack, he also enjoyed reading old cowboy books and solving word puzzles. Larry was a God loving man, he donated to orphanages because of his love for God and children.
Graveside Service and Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 10:00 am at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, Kentucky 41097.
