Laverne Maxine Fowler

Sadly, on March 3, 2021 Laverne M. Fowler passed away at the age of 76 from failing health.
LaVerne was born LaVerne Maxine Cornelius on June 10, 1944. She was the oldest of 14. She attended Bloom High School. She married George Fowler, Sr. and they raised 9 children. LaVerne was widowed on April 20, 2014. LaVerne was a loving and caring mother, wife, sister and friend. After raising 9 children, she worked 20 years in the restaurant industry. Her hard working attitude and awesome sense of humor was infectious.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara and 6 siblings.
She is survived by 9 children, Bessie, Robert, Annette, Lawrence, Sharon, George, Jr., Douglas, Genine and Patrick; 7 siblings, Priscilla, Harrison, John, Mary, Lecture, Eddie and Anthony; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and an extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
