Lavonne grew up on a dairy farm in Northern Kentucky, and often fondly told stories about her many experiences.

Lavonne taught Ballroom Dancing for 2 years and continued to enjoy dancing for many more.
After her first marriage of 17 years ended, she married John and continued to travel, most significantly logging over 100,000 miles in their several motor homes, and traveling to 49 states.
She sold Real Estate for many years, then founded Ritchie Photographic with John. Lavonne was the economic engine that built the company, using her wonderful sales skills.
She never turned down the opportunity to enjoy a party, and for the last 15 years had a birthday Pig Roast in her honor which often drew 100 or more guests.
Lavonne became a UC Basketball fan in the 1990’s, attended many games, and more recently watched the games on TV up until her passing.
For the last 10 years, she was protected by two great big labradoodles, and photos of Kona and Max lying with her in her hospital bed were often seen on Facebook.
Lavonne was not only a wife and a wonderful mother, but also John's best friend. John will miss her profoundly.
