Lawrence L. Heis

Lawrence L. Heis, age 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 19, 1936 to Lewis J. and Florence Heis (nee Mayes).

Lawrence was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served for eight and a half years during the Korean War. He was a member of the Marine Corps League Detachment 270, VFW Post 7340 and The American Legion Post 513.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Lawrence is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Mary L. Heis (nee Garrison); step-son, John (Myra) Jones, Jr.; sister, Starr Wilkerson; niece, Melinda (Will) Bledsoe; nephews, Jeffrey Lefever, and Marshall Wilkerson; dear friend, Julie Lahmer; and a host of other family members and friends.

Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. The funeral service will begin at 12:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park where Military Honors will be served.
