Lawrence F Hemsath II "Larry", age 71, of Western Hills, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 12, 1950 to Lawrence F and Roselinda Hemsath (nee Sedler).

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, his step-daughter, Kim Cavallon and his nephews, Patrick Leisgang and Michael Ramstetter.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 31 blissful years, Kathy Hemsath (nee Newman), his children, Gina (Denny) Bath, Steve Hemsath and Larry (Tiffany) Hemsath, III. He is the grandfather of Jake and Stuart Bick, Braden Bath, Cy, Sam and Rosie Hemsath.

Larry is the brother of Linda (Larry) Stock, Steve Hemsath, Diane (Jay) Leisgang and Lisa (Mike) Ramstetter. He is known in the family as the "favorite" Father, Grandpa, Brother and Uncle.

Larry is the former owner of the Pirate's Den, where he loved to showcase local bands and offer you the greatest "party" experience. With his brother, they operated the Hemsath's Sound Center and Sound Waves. He spent a short time working for Jaycor / WEBN.

Come and help celebrate Larry's life, beginning with the visitation on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211).

Please join the family for the funeral mass, Saturday, March 5, 2022, 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Visitation Church, 3172 South Road (45248). The cemetery service will be at a later date.

In loving memory of Larry, memorial contributions may be made to Tuition and Scholarship funds at Our Lady of Visitation School or Elder High School .
