HOFFMAN, Lawrence, age 81 of Cincinnati passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015. He was born in Cincinnati on May 4, 1934 the son of John and Emma (Wessel) Hoffman. Larry was a United States Army veteran and retired after 32 years with Western Electric (AT&T). On November 22, 1956 he was married to Sandra Herzog. Larry loved fishing, bowling and sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Steven Hoffman; two brothers, Harry and Marvin Hoffman; and three sisters, Mary Walsh, Lorraine Weber and Esther Stockmeier. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sandra Hoffman; his daughter, Caroline Abner and her husband Ken; his grandson, Eric Abner and his wife Michelle; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Ceremony will be at 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 28, 2015 with a visitation from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Western Hills Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
