Lawrence Joseph Reinersman, known affectionately as Larry, passed away peacefully on June 25 2024, in Cold Spring, Kentucky. He was born on August 22, 1948, in Covington, Kentucky.

Larry was preceded in death by his father Vernon Reinersman, mother Velma Reinersman (nee Rehkamp), wife, Joyce Ann Reinersman (nee Woltering), and brother Steve Reinersman. He is survived by his beloved children, Zachary (Amy) Reinersman, Cassandra (Eric) Short, Chris (Pam) Jeannet, Lisa (Mike) Martin and Daniel (Edna) Jeannet; siblings Kenny Reinersman, Mary Ann Moore, Monsignor Gerald Reinersman, Mark (Maryann) Reinersman, Joe (Shirley) Reinersman, Elizabeth Turner, Bill (Jill) Reinersman, Tom Reinersman, Teresa (Ray) Moore and Paul (the late Tina) Reinersman.

Larry also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who will always hold dear the memories they shared.

Larry will always be remembered for his kind and giving personality. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to various hobbies and interests that brought joy to those around him. He found fulfillment in volunteering at church, bringing communion to residents in nursing homes, portraying Santa Claus for children at St. Xavier Church, tending to his garden, and cherishing moments spent with his family.

Lawrence Joseph Reinersman's life was one of compassion and selflessness towards others. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.

In honoring Larry's life and legacy, a visitation will take place at St. Timothy Church, 10272 US-42, Union, KY 41091 on July 3, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM with a Mass to follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place immediately following at St. Mary's Cemetery in Fort Mitchell. 

Family and friends are invited to join the family for a reception at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4350 Dixie Hwy. Erlanger, KY 41018 after the committal service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent De Paul would be greatly appreciated.
