Lawrence Charles "Larry" Mccarthy

McCarthy, Lawrence Charles age 89, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024. He was born in Ludlow, Kentucky on March 8, 1935 to Edward and Lillian McCarthy (nee Greenlee). Larry loved gardening and being outdoors. Larry was a devoted worker for the Norfolk Southern Railway for 42 years.

He was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence McCarthy, Jr., sister, Margaret McCarthy, brother, Edward McCarthy, brother, Patrick McCarthy, mother, Lillian McCarthy, father, Edward McCarthy. Larry is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn McCarthy (nee Kennedy), son, Shawn (Carlos) McCarthy, son, Lance (Angel) McCarthy, grandson, Tyler (Nicole) McCarthy, granddaughter, Carlee (Tyler) Moening, great-grandchildren, Stella, Wyatt, Aleena, and Jett; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 pm Monday, June 10, 2024 with a visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3227 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018.
