Lee Vernon Couch, Sr.

Lee Vernon Couch, Sr. age 76, of Covington, Kentucky reunited with his beloved wife of 56 years early Friday morning, January 19, 2024. He was born in Oneida, Kentucky on July 12, 1947 to Alfred and Delora Couch (nee Caldwell). Lee enjoyed bowling and going to the racetrack, he would always bet on the horses. Once a year he would take a trip to New York with the guys to watch horse racing there. He was an avid gambler and poker player. He was very good about planning out his sunflowers and watching them grow taller than he was. He loved taking care of his mom's rose bushes and watching them grow every year. Lee also loved to watch football with the grandkids and always loved and cherished his family above all else.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Rose Couch, brother, Troy Couch, brother, Raleigh Couch, brother, Alfred Couch, Jr., brother, Paul Couch, sister, Martha Jane Taylor, father, Alfred Couch, Sr., mother, Delora Couch. Lee is survived by his daughter, Satina Edwards, daughter, Tonya Harris, daughter, Angelia Couch, son, Lee (Misty) Couch, Jr., 19 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, brother, Chester (Ruth) Couch, brother, John (Arnetta) Couch, sister, Versie (Don) Hellard, sister, Shirley (Dennis) Brewer, sister, Hazel Braunwich, sister-in-laws; Elizabeth Couch, Bertha Couch, and Lucy Couch, brother-in-law, Lenny Taylor; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with a funeral service at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018.
