Linda Marley, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born on March 4, 1950, in Covington, Kentucky, Linda's journey through life was marked by her strength and devotion to her three children.
Linda spent many years as a homemaker, but after her children were raised, she embarked into the workforce and finally settled at the Internal Revenue Service where she retired after 16 years. However, it was in her roles as a loving mother and doting grandmother that she truly excelled.
Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was cooking her favorite dishes, piecing together puzzles, planting flowers, or watching birds from her favorite spot on the back porch. Each moment spent with her will be a memory that will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew her.
She leaves behind a family who cared for her deeply. Linda is survived by her beloved daughter, Amanda Marley, and her sons, Jason (Tatiana) Marley and Jonathan Marley. The joy of her life extended to her three grandchildren, Lauren Seliski, Zoe Marley, and Christopher Marley, each of whom was a source of inspiration and pride. Her siblings, Diane (Ronald) Eilers, William Ashley, John Kevin Ashley, and Lisa Ashley, will also miss her deeply. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Lou Ashley (nee Jones) and Thomas Earl Ashley.
As her family reflects on the precious moments they shared, they find comfort in knowing that Linda's love and support will forever remain a guiding light in their lives. She was a true testament to the love a mother has for children, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Linda Marley will be dearly missed, yet her spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
