Lisa J. Schuler-Hericks

Lisa J. Schuler-Hericks, aged 61, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024. She was born in London, Kentucky on September 16, 1962 to Cecil and Dorothy Combs (nee Shepherd).

Lisa was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dorothy Combs, and her soulmate, David R. Schuler. She is survived by her grieving father, Cecil (Barbara) Combs; daughters Joyce (Jason) Griffith, Hanna A. Schuler, Amanda Metcalf; sons Jeophrey Schuler and Sean Schuler; as well as several adopted children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lisa is also survived by her siblings: Cheryl (Philip) Grubb, Johnny (Daisy) Combs, Rebecca Combs, and Crystal (Keith) McKinney; in addition to a large circle of extended family members and friends.

She found joy in various activities including spending time on social media platforms like TikTok and Facebook, shopping, tending to her garden, and displaying a deep affection for animals. Lisa had a passion for connecting with people, cooking delicious meals, collecting tattoos artfully inked on her skin, taking walks in the cemetery— but above all else she cherished the role of being a dedicated and loving caregiver for her entire family plus friends.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 26th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane in Cincinnati, Ohio with visitation starting at 1:00 pm until the service begins.
