Livia F. Morgante

Livia F. Morgante, age 88, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on September 27 2024. Born on December 12, 1935, in Buffalo, New York, she was the cherished daughter of Frank and Mary Boncaldo (nee Giachino). Livia dedicated a life long career to nursing at the Buffalo Children's Hospital and spent many years caring for the people around her. 

Livia was known for her exceptional quilting skills and had a passion for reading, sewing, and gardening. She treasured the moments spent traveling with her husband, Philip, exploring new places and creating lasting memories together. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. 

Livia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Philip Morgante; her parents, Frank and Mary Boncaldo; and her brothers, Joseph and Germante Boncaldo. She is survived by her children; Michael (Vicki) Morgante, Barbara Morgante, Brenda (Brian) Williams, and Philip (Jackie) Morgante, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; her sister, Linda Lakso; and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
