Jones, Lizzie Mae, age 54, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. She was born in Albany, Georgia on July 18, 1961 to Jimmy Barber, Sr. and Alberta Barber-Butts (Hawkins). Lizzie will be celebrated by her family and friends for her fun-loving spirit, a devoted partner to her husband, a nurturing mother to her boys, and a kind, spiritual friend.
Lizzie is survived by her beloved Husband of 32 years, Vincent Jones, Sr., Mother, Alberta Barber-Butts, Sons; Vincent (Mazell) Jones, Jr., Jason N. Jones, and Avery A. Jones, Sisters; Amelia and Geneva; Brothers; Willie, Jimmy Jr., Bert, and Clinton, 7 Grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father, Jimmy Barber, Sr. and Sister, Emma.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
