Lizzie Lee Rabb of Cincinnati was born in Clarksville, Tennessee on January 4, 1907 to the union of Mary and Robert Allen. She was 105 years old when she departed this life on August 13, 2012 with her family by her side.
Lizzie Lee had a very full, prosperous, and blessed life. She attended high school in Clarksville, Tennessee. Lizzie then met her husband Charlie Rabb and they were married on September 24, 1924 and their union lasted 67 years. She was a homemaker and her husband Charlie worked for the railroad. Lizzie Lee loved and embraced life. She enjoyed her family, shopping, and a member of several civic organizations.
Lizzie Lee was an active member of Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, where she was the oldest active member. She was a member for more than 60 years, until her health began to decline. Lizzie Lee was also a member of Mission Chapter 3, and served as a volunteer for the Salvation Army. She was outspoken, very family oriented, and loved her family no matter what. Her family knew her as the kind and generous person she always was. We the family take comfort in knowing that Lizzie Lee met the Lord at an early age and that she had made her peace with the Lord. Lizzie Lee is survived by 3 children, Ada Morton, Arnetta Thornton, and Charles Lester Rabb; 6 grandchildren, Carol, Donna, Diane (Calvin), Gary, Anna Bell, and Jolonda; 7 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and 2 great-great-great-grandchildren. Lizzie was blessed to be survived by 5 generations. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charlie; and her daughter Joyce Ann Spencer.
