Lonnie R. Booher, Sr.
June 25, 1941 — March 18, 2021
Lonnie R. Booher, Sr., age 79, of Norwood, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021. He was born in Bristol, Virginia on June 25, 1941 to Lonnie G. and Amanda Louise Booher (nee Alexander).
Lonnie retired from General Motors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Ted Booher, and Paul Booher.
Lonnie is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Brenda Booher (nee Marshall); children, Lonnie Ray (Jody) Booher, Jr., Kathy J. (Wayne) Ratliff, and Mark (Lori Simpson) Booher; grandchildren, Scotty Webb, Lesa Webb, Shawn Booher, Jami Booher, Mason Booher, Marcella Simpson, and Ella Booher; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen Steele, and Mary (Dwight) Plummer; brother, Ronald Booher; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Lonnie, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, from 12:00PM to 1:00PM. The funeral service will begin at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Landmark Cemetery.
