Loretta Wardwell, (nee Riley) age 64, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 16, 1958 to Richard and Doris Riley (nee Bailey).
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters Kathleen Blankenship and Jeannie Riley.
Loretta is survived by her beloved husband Edward "Ted" Oakley, her sons Scott and Mickey Wardwell and her siblings, Mary Ann (Joel) Crowe, Maxine Speaker, Clifford Riley and Richard Riley. She is also a grandmother and she leaves behind a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211) from 9:30 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Miamitown Cemetery.
In loving memory of Loretta, contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN (38105).
