Lou Anne Painter, age 89, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on February 8, 2022. She was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky on January 25, 1933 to James and Louise Baker (nee Laskey).
She was preceded in death by her mother Louise Baker-Martin, her father James Baker, her beloved husband, William B. "Bill" Painter, Sr. , her brother Jim Baker and her grandson, Nolan Doerger.
Lou Anne is survived by her loving children, Sharma (Bob) Browning, William B. "Bill" (Kathy) Painter, Jr., Beth (the late Gary) Million, Peggy Doerger, and Patrick Painter. She is the devoted grandmother of Ryan and Doug Browning, Julie Hoffmann, Laura Cogswell, Dr. Kara Painter, Matt and Marcus Million, Maria, Michael, Nick, Max and Chloe Doerger and Alex and McKeea Painter. She is the great grandmother of Ramsey, Lyla, Mary Kate, Ellie, Bella, Grayson and Ty. Lou Anne is the sister-in-law of Betty Baker. She is the beloved aunt of Rachel Reed and James Baker.
Her aunt, being a professional tennis player, Lou Anne enjoyed watching tournaments on TV, her favorite being Rafa Nadal. She had a love for the music of Elvis Presley. Coffee connoisseur, her favorite being McDonald's. An avid reader enjoying murder mysteries.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in the Gathering Space of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 9:30 AM until 10:15 AM. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Burial will be later in the afternoon at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Louisville, Kentucky.
