Louis A. Barnett

Barnett, Louis A., age 73, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 22, 1941 to the late John and Mary Barnett. Louis will be remembered as a strong, quiet family leader. He loved spending time outdoors; fishing, barbecuing, and appreciating wildlife and admiring the classic cars.

Louis is survived by his beloved Wife of nearly 50 years, Joann Barnett; Daughter, Lynne (Oralen) Buckner, Daughter, Donna (Ronnie) Goss, Son, Louis (Latrina) Whitson, Son, Ronald Whitson, Daughter, Sonya (Jonathan) Goines, Daughter, Billie Terrell, Son, Mark (Erica) Whitson, Son, John (Kimberly) Whitson, Son, Michael Whitson, Daughter, Vicky Whitson, and Son, Anthony (Kellie) Whitson; Brothers, Ronnie and John Barnett; 41 Grandchildren; 46 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 8, 2015 with a visitation from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Memorial contributions, in Louis' honor, may be given to Joann Barnett.
