Louise Robinson was born in Oglethorpe County, Athens, Georgia on November 18, 1928 to the union of George and Margie (Calloway)
Watkins.
She was wed to Frank Dorsey and to this union one child, Geneva was born. She later came to Cincinnati, Ohio in the late 1940's where she met and married David C. Smith and to this union six children were born.
Louise was a homemaker and worked various jobs, The Metropole Hotel, Federal Bakery and Children's Hospital.
She had a great love for cooking and operated the Rib Shack in Covington, Kentucky and later Southern Kitchen on Montgomery Road in Evanston. She married Aninias Robinson and they worked side by side in the business.
Louise was baptized at an early age. She was called to the ministry in the late 1970's and became an Ordained Licensed Minister in the State of Ohio.
After doing restaurant work for a number of years, she decided to heed her calling and turned the restaurant into a Mission, the Samaritan Spiritual Church. The church served both community and family. She served as it's pastor until her sight began to fail.
She was a woman of vision and had great strength because of her faith in God. Even though she had several health issues, she was steadfast in her faith.
She was an extremely dedicated person not only to her family, but to friends as well. She will be greatly missed by all. We have loved her, but God loved her most.
She leaves us to join her siblings in heaven; Fannie, Henry, CB, Goldie, Mittie, Bertha, Lizzie Mae, Syl and Jap.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Julia, George, Diane, Margie, and Cornelius; Geneva and Donell preceded her in death; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bell of Cincinnati, Ohio and Margie Ruth Strickland of Athens, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren, Vanessa, Rita, Josephine, Tyrone, Janetta, Mary, Etonia, Donita, Lamont, Tina, David, Cornelius Jr., Danelle, Richard (Ricco) and Rochelle (deceased); four stepchildren, Sarah Ann, Gregory, Larry and Mark (deceased); twenty-four great-grandchildren, twenty-one great-great grandchildren, five great-great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
