Luetell Helen Glover, age 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 19, 1934 to Frank Shockley and Luetell Green (nee Young).
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Glover; children, Michael Glover, Theresa Wilson; siblings, Frank Shockley, Sylvester Shockley, Alice Burns, May Jones. Luetell is survived by her beloved children, Charles Glover, Jr., Helen Glover, Mary Christine Harrison, Tyrone M. Glover; 27 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was the glue that held this spirited and active family together. Overseeing the daily running of the household while Daddy worked two and sometimes three jobs, being responsible for feeding, making sure we went to school, didn't get into too much trouble, and showing unbounded love at the same time.
She loved spending time showering her many grandkids with love and they in turn loved being with her. She instilled self-sufficiency in her children by showing us you can make your own clothes and grow your own food.
There will be a private family celebration.
