On Thursday February 27, 2014 a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend was called home at the age of 72.
Man Long was a very intelligent and energetic individual. He served as a soldier in his native country of Cambodia. Man loved going to work to interact with his peers and colleagues at The Hilton Plaza, where he retired from at the age of 65. However, he enjoyed being there so much that he continued to work there after retirement, giving the Hilton a dedicated 31 years of service. In his spare time, Man was very active at the Pramavihara Temple, and loved watching football games with his family. His favorite team was the Cincinnati Bengals, and he finally got to go to a Bengals game in November of last year.
Man is now at peace with his parents, his mother-in-law Soun Mao, and his sister-in-law Kimboi Vinh who all preceded him in their homecoming. He is survived by Eang Vinh, his loving wife of 47 years, his children: Kim and her husband Kevin, Kimly and her husband Justice, Weasna Long, Cheavlay Long all of Cincinnati, Sopheap and his wife Maly Long of Columbus, Laura and her husband Pat Rhin, and Annabelle Long of France. Surviving Man are also his 21 grandchildren, his 1 great granddaughter, and his sister Phon Mau of Cambodia. He will be remembered for his strong-willed soul and love of his family, and will truly be missed by all.
