Manuella Lee Landers-Michkarane, 70, of Florence, Kentucky departed life on Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 20, 1950 to the late Manuel Joseph and Ruby Lee Landers.
Manuella attended Walter L. Cohen Senior High School and graduated with the class of 1969 prior to her earning a college degree. She over all enjoyed life to the fullest and worked hard to care for her family. Manuella enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, reading books and talking as well as shopping. She was the one person you could call on no matter what.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son James Carney, III and one brother Bill Webster Threats.
Manuella leaves behind a beloved family to cherish her memory including four children, three sons Gerald M. Carney, Donald Ray Conway and Latif R. Conway; her only daughter Rahija N. Carney; siblings, Selina Armour, Mary Ann Landers, Adair Harris, Jacqueline Landers-Thompson and Manuel Matthew Landers; granddaughter and caretaker Tanisha Washington and Ashley Carney as well as 18 other grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and one cousin Diane Clark as well as many extended family members and friends all of whom will hold her memory near to their hearts.
There will be a Celebration of Life to honor her at 2:00 pm Monday, March 8, 2021 with a visitation from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
