Marcus (Dale) Freeman was born September 5, 1951 to the late Beatrice Jean Bailey and Clarence Dean Freeman in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed on Thursday, April 27, 2012.
He confessed Christ at an early age and united with Mount Zion Baptist Church, Glendale, Ohio. He was an active member attending church regularly.
He went to school at Glendale Elementary and graduated from Princeton High School in 1970. At Princeton he excelled in track and football. Upon graduating he went to Wilber Forest University and Hocking Valley Tech then served with distinction in the U.S. Army from 1973 – 1975.
He married Sandra Freeman April 28, 1979. They resided in Woodlawn, Ohio for 33 years. He had many different careers. Which included truck driving for Mckesson, bus driving for Princeton District, and driving for Access. In his most recent career he owned Freeman's Lawn Care, which he started in 1981.
Marcus known as Markie to some, was greatly known throughout his community and beyond. His remarkable personality lit up any atmosphere. He worked hard and played hard. He loved to have a great time with close friends and family. His passions included riding motorcycles, fishing, and sports.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Sandra Freeman; children Shawn, Tamar and Taylor; grand-children Diyanna, Kameren, Jayden, and Brooklyn; siblings, Joyce(Fred) Graham, Milan (Judy) Freeman, Marvin(Harriet "Cookie") Freeman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
