Maria Lederer Failla, age 96 of Oakhurst, N.J., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 25, 2022 at Sem Haven Retirement Community in Cincinnati, Ohio. Maria was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband John P Failla, daughter Karin H Carboy, daughter-in-law Madeline Faulisi-Failla, son-in law John W Carboy, brothers Edi and Karl Lederer and her sister Herta (Manfred) Herzog.
She is survived by her beloved son Paul J Failla, beloved grandchildren, Lisa Carboy Kuethe (Joe), William J Carboy, Anna Failla, and great grandchildren Lance and Natalie Carboy.
Maria enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to walk and to bake. She had a wonderful group of German friends that she enjoyed spending time together.
A memorial service will be held at Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls, NJ on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 11:30.
