MariaElena "Cookie" Heil

MariaElena "Cookie" Heil, age 81, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 7,2024. She was born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, on September 27, 1942, to Kenneth and Kathryn Utz.

Cookie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Kenneth and Kathryn Utz; her siblings, Barbara and George Utz; her husband, LeRoy Heil; and her cherished children, David, Eddie, and Brent Heil.

She is survived by her daughter, Millie Heil; and her grandchildren: Devon (Christopher) Smith, Amanda (Joe) Ornelas, Steven Heil, Jack Heil, Megan and Erika Pellett, and Alex Heil. Cookie took great joy in her great-grandchildren, Abi Smith, Jordan Ennis, Violet Heil, and Benjamin Ornelas. She also leaves behind a host of family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2420 Drex Ave. Norwood, Ohio 45212.  A visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday September 18, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
