Marian Allen

November 12, 1927 — January 11, 2015

Marian was born November 12, 1927 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to the late Marion and Edna Blair. She moved to Muncie, Indiana in 1934 and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1945.

Marian met the love of her life, her husband George Allen, while he was on leave from the Army visiting his Grandfather in Muncie. They were married on February 24, 1946 in Muncie and then moved to Lincoln Heights, Ohio.

Marian joined St. Simon's Church, which was lead by Reverend C. Edward Harrison. She was a member of the Alter Guild and a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Lockland American Legion Auxiliary for 34 years and a Woodlawn 50 plus senior group. Last but not least,she was a homemaker.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Linda Holmes, Garry Allen, and Susan Brown; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, aunts, family and a host of friends.
