Marianne Smith, age 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. She was born in Cambridge, Ohio on July 14, 1956 to the late John and Ann Krak. Marianne was a 1974 graduate of Guernsey Catholic Central High School and earned her degree in Accounting from Cincinnati State.
In addition to her parents, Marianne was preceded in death by an infant sister, Christine Krak, her in-laws, Clifford and Irene Smith, and brother-in-law Tom Ems.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Smith, whom she married on July 22, 1989, their daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Zach Walther, and granddaughters Sloane and Collins Walther.
Marianne also leaves brothers Frank (Marilyn) Krak, and Dave (Cheryl) Krak, and sisters Emily (Gene) Archdale, Marguerite (Steve) Stolarik, Martha (Sam) Jurkovich, JoAnne (Trevorr) Jurgensen, and Amy (Bill) McKenzie, as well as brothers- and sisters-in-law Marilyn Ems, Cliff (Jean) Smith, Diane (Frank) Egan, Rosemary (Bill) Pitt , and Sharon (Bill) Coombs. Marianne also had numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 10:30 AM until the funeral mass at 11:30 AM, at St Ignatius Church, North Bend Road.
