Markcus Bailey

Bailey, Markcus Malachi age 32, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 15, 1989 to Lanell and Brenda Blackshear (nee Shepard).

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Gene Stephenson and grandparents, Betty and Johnny Blackshear. Markcus is survived by his beloved parents, Brenda and Lanell Blackshear; siblings, Dawnelle (Drew Durbin) Bailey, Kenneth Bailey and Telisa Bailey; children, Mason, Ayumeii, Malayah and Makiyah; great-grandmother, Thelma Stephenson, grandparents, William and Linda Blevins; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.

Markcus' children were his world and he was proud to be their father. He loved his family, soccer, cars, and all types of music. He was an avid Vikings football fan.

In loving memory of Markcus, contributions may be made to Newcomer Funeral Home or the immediate family to help defray funeral costs. A visitation will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with a service immediately following at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.

A reception will be held immediately after the funeral at Harvest Home Park in the shelter at 3961 N. Bend Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45211.
