Marshall Milton Thomas, age 91, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia on May 19, 1933 to the late Ronald and Cordelyn Thomas (nee Marshall).
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Frederick Thomas and wife and mother of his children, Alice Page Thomas (nee Smith). Marshall is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Peggy Thomas (nee McCarter); cherished daughters, Autumn (David) Peterson and Robin Thomas; grandchildren, Thomas (Kelsy) Wheeler, Nichelle Oliver, Deanna Oliver; great-grandchildren, Alice Oliver, Sydney Wheeler, Theodore Wheeler and Rosemary Wheeler; and a host of other family members and friends.
Marshall loved his family and any time he got to spend with them. He enjoyed reading his bible daily, playing his harmonica, collecting playing cards and Hallmark train ornaments. In his younger years, he enjoyed making model train layouts, he even donated one to the Railroad Depot Park in Erlanger. He was a minister for the deaf for 25 years and spent 20 years as a printer for the State of West Virginia.
In loving memory of Marshall, contributions may be made to Kentucky Christian University at 100 Academic Parkway, Grayson, KY 41143. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm with a service to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10 am at Highland Cemetery, 2167 Dixie Hwy. Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017. Anyone wishing to join the procession to the cemetery is requested to arrive at the funeral home at 9:15 am.
