Martha A. Mercurio, age 94, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born in Huntsville, Tennessee on May 5, 1926 to Flem B. and Cassie Duncan (nee Lee).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Mercurio; son, Joseph M. Mercurio; best friend, Richard Kist; parents, Flem B. and Cassie Duncan (nee Lee); brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred (Ruth) Duncan, Frank (Laura Ellen) Duncan, John (Lois) Duncan, Robert (Marilyn) Duncan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marjorie (George) Duncan Ely, Dorothy (Mike) Duncan-Boehmler, Fannye Helen (Marshall) Duncan Fraiser, Elizabeth (Kenneth) Duncan Keck, infant twin sisters, Martha Inez and Etta Jane Duncan; sister-in-law, Louetta Duncan.
Martha is survived by her beloved daughter, Debbie (Mark) Dorris; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; dear brother, Joe Duncan; daughter-in-law, Tonya Tucker Mercurio; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Martha, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or to the Duncan Family Cemetery Maintenance Fund, in care of 5255 Hampton Lane, Columbus, Ohio 43220.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at The Willows and Mallard Cove, for their loving care during Martha's illness. To her caregivers, Christine, Nurse George, Nancy, George Knight, and Hospice of Cincinnati, thank you for all you did to make Martha's life brighter.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Duncan Family Cemetery in Huntsville, Tennessee.
