Mary Jean Allgeyer
June 1, 1931 — May 8, 2023
Mary Jean Allgeyer, 91, of Green Township, passed away on May 8, 2023 at Mercy West Hospital.
She was born on June 1, 1931 to the late John and Francis McLaughlin in Norwood, OH.
Mary Jean cherished her family, raised three boys with her husband Larry while keeping God at the center of her life. Mary graduated as a RN from the St Elizabeth School of Nursing.
The Catholic telegraph was one of her favorite newspapers. She enjoyed keeping tabs on the pope, walking the stairs in Mt Adams, while frequently visiting the "Flower House" (Krohn Conservatory).
Watching her sons grow up and start their families gave her the greatest joy.
Mary Jean is survived by her sons, (Tim Deceased) Carolyn Allgeyer, Tom (Diane) Allgeyer, and Terry (Denise) Allgeyer; grandchildren, Todd (Cathy) Allgeyer, Christine (Scott) Burbrink, Michael T. (Bailey) Allgeyer, Nicholas J. (Morgan) Allgeyer, Tyler (Michelle) LaHue-Allgeyer, Michael G. Allgeyer, and Lindsey (Dan) Buelterman; great-grandchildren, Riley, Brady, Nicholas G., Asher, Bellamy, Amelia, Everett, Brooklyn, and Declan.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Allgeyer; sons, Tim Allgeyer & Mark Allgeyer; and brother, Edward McLaughlin.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday May 17, 2023 at 10:00am St. Dominic Church, 4551 Delhi Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45238.
A visitation will be at 9:00am until the time of services at 10:00am at church.
