Mary E. Blannon, age 95, of Springfield Township, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020. She was born in Utah, Alabama on January 2, 1925 to Eugene and Fannie Cook.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Fannie Wakefield; grandsons, Michael Wakefield, and David Wakefield; parents; one brother, and several sisters.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald L. Blannon; step-son, Gregory (Donna) Blannon; granddaughter, Valerie Simpson; great-grandchildren, Michael Wakefield, II, Diamond Wakefield, and Alexus Gaines; great-great grandchildren, Michael Wakefield, III, Malaya Wakefield, Mi'Amor Morton, and Ra'Shya Harper; brothers-in-law, Milton Thurkill, Raymond Thurkill, Ernest Thurkill, Mark Thurkill, David Thurkill and Leroy Blannon; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 2, 2020 with a visitation from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm at New Prospect Baptist Church, 1580 Summit Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park on Pippin Road.
