Mary Ann Bingham Kestermeier., age 79, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 6, 2025. She was born on July 20, 1945, in San Francisco, California, to the late Edd and Doris Bingham (née Patterson).

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, James “Jim” A. Kestermeier; her beloved sons, William “Eddie” Edgar Cass and Gregory Cass; and her sister, Linda Eddins.

She is survived by her devoted niece, Lisa M. Teague; her cherished great-niece, Whitney N. (Michael) Watson; her adored grandchildren, April Cass, Brando Cass, and Gregory Cass, II; as well as a host of extended family and dear friends who loved her deeply.

Mary Ann’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with strength, resilience, and creativity. From her adventurous days gold panning in Idaho and working as a cowgirl on a Texas ranch, to her dedicated roles as a bookkeeper and teacher, she embraced each moment with courage and curiosity. Her creative spirit shined in everything she did—crafting intricate jewelry, crocheting with love, and transforming simple materials into heartfelt gifts.

She was the heart of our family—the glue that held us together. Her legacy is one of deep compassion, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

Mary Ann had the rare gift of making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. Her warmth and wisdom touched countless lives, and her memory will forever remain a blessing to all who knew her.As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived. Mary Ann’s love, laughter, and light will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone she left behind. We ask for your prayers and support as we honor her memory and find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with those she loved, and is at peace.

Her memorial service will be held Saturday May 3rd 2025 at Immanuel Baptist Church7183 Old Pleasant Vly Wy, Florence, KY 41042 at 2:00 pm.
