HUNTER, Mary Lou age 75, of Cincinnati, was called home the morning of September 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Arlington, Alabama on October 25, 1937 the daughter of William and Estelle (Dumas) Hannon. She confessed Christ at an early age, where she was a member of the Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church in Arlington, Alabama. After relocating to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1968, Mary Lou became a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. In 1989 She became a faithful member of the New Christian Life Missionary Baptist Church, as first lady. She was also, a missionary member and a Deaconess.
Mary Lou was a devoted wife, and a loving mother and friend. She greeted all with a smile, which will not be forgotten.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Flave Hunter Jr.; six brothers, William, Toney James, Lonnie, J.W., Johnny Miles, T.J.; and two sisters Carrie, and Reva. She leaves to cherish her memory, four children; Al James Hunter of Cincinnati, Josephine and her husband Edward Gross of Richmond, Virginia, Gary and his wife Shurrie Hunter of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Marilyn and her husband Marcel Berry of Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Willie Bell Godbold and her husband Jordan; seven grandchildren, Tina, Toccara, Lance, Jeanine, Shannon, Danielle, and Bethany; five great grandchildren, Nathan, Daviyon, Davimarion, Mason, and Jason. and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her!
