Mary E. Martinear

Mary E. Martinear, 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on January 16, 2025. Born on June 5, 1957, in Selma, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Willie Augustus and Mattie Lee Martinear (nee Woods).

Mary is remembered fondly by her family and friends. She leaves behind her son, Marzell Martinear; her daughters, Gabrielle, Michelle and Raquel Martinear; and her many treasured grandchildren: Romell, Eric, Iylan, Ramahd, Brandell, Bre'ayja, Bry'Aire, Mikala, Jeremiah, and Makhi Martinear. Mary is also survived by her siblings: John Lee Martinear, Audrey King, Angela King, Leonard King, Sabrina King, and Godfrey King, along with a host of family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Mary had a passion for sewing and relished spending quality time with her grandchildren. Her joy for dancing, humor, and community engagement created delightful connections with those around her. She also enjoyed relaxing while watching television.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 23, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
