Mary R. Brewer

BREWER, Mary Ruth, age 89 of Cincinnati passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. She was born in Crossville, Tennessee on October 3, 1926 the daughter of the late, Fred and Eliza (Hamilton) Burgess. In 1940 she married Emerson W. Brewer and he preceded her in death in 1987.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her two grandsons, Bobby and Michael Brewer; her granddaughter, Sheila Clark; two brothers, Willard and Brown Burgess; and her son-in-law, Danny Groppenbecker. She is survived by her five children, Dorman Nelson Brewer, Edward Leon Brewer and his wife Barb, Walter Eugene Brewer and his wife Glennasue, Mary Frances Coffman and her husband Harold and Marie Groppenbecker; nine grandchildren, Vicky, Joey, Denise, Teresa, Tina, Gina, Holly, Tammy and Carey; sixteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Mae; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Landmark Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service.
