Mary Reliford

Mary A. Reliford, age 63 of Cincinnati passed away at Hospice of Cincinnati- Blue Ash on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 11:25 PM. She was born in Cincinnati on January 24, 1948 the daughter of Joseph H. Sr. and Mary Reliford and daughter to Gertrude DeBruce. She was a Mother of Christ Temple Full Gospel Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherry (John) Smith-Martin; seven sons, Timothy Smith, Leroy (Benita) Smith, Patrick Abernathy, Cornell Abernathy, Reginald (Danielle) Abernathy, Sean (Joann) Abernathy and James E. Smith, who preceded her in death; forty-one grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and loved by many who knew her as mom; three brothers, Percy (Carol) DeBruce, Joseph H. (Dolly Mae) Reliford Jr., who preceded her in death, Ronald C. (Clara) Reliford; four sisters, Carol Terrell DeBruce, Joann (Tee) Lemmons, who preceded her in death, Lorraine (Kenneth) Roach, and Beatrice (Otis L.H.)Reliford; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Peter Mingo officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
