Wetenkamp, Mary Lucille age 87, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 23, 1930 to Anthony and Lucille Comarata (nee Rizzo).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother and his wife, Vincent Comarata (Corrine); her sister and her husband, Martha Borman (Bill); and her brother, Anthony Comarata. Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Frank Wetenkamp Jr.; her devoted children, Deborah (James) Murphy, Frank (Lisa) Wetenkamp III, Karen Ibanez, and Sandra (Jim) Stone; proud grandmother of, James (Andrea) Murphy Jr., Craig (Jennifer) Murphy, Emily Wetenkamp, Nichole Wetenkamp, Frank Wetenkamp IV, John (Morgan) Wetenkamp, David (Ashley) Ibanez, Mark (Erin) Ibanez, Marissa Ibanez, Christine (Chad) Curtin, Lauren Hayden, Michael Hayden, and Abby Stone; her 16 cherished great-grandchildren; her brother, Henry (Phyllis) Comarata; her sister, Rose (Carlo) Hornsby; her sister-in-law, Gloria Comarata; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Mary owned and operator her own business, Mademoiselle Coiffures for over 24 years, and enjoyed friendships shared through many social organizations and clubs throughout her life. She will most be remembered for her laughter and zest for life and adventure. She did not lose her life - She lived it!
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, January 12, 2018 with a visitation from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at St. Antoninus Parish, 1500 Linneman Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. A private entombment service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery - Old.
