Ahr, Matthias "Bud" E. age 93, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 9, 1926 to Charles J. and Frances Ahr (nee Kempf).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles J. and Frances Ahr; daughter, Debbie Stranzin and brother, Charles Ahr. Matthias is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Charlotte C. Ahr (nee Roettker); children, Nancy Ahr and Michael (Nancy) Ahr; grandchildren, Rochelle (Pete) Lunsford, Rob (Trista) Stranzin, Michelle (Brint) Conley, Jason (Lisa) Ahr and Jonathan Ahr; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Adam, Robert, Casey, Kenzie, Hunter, Briceson, Braydon and Reese, great-great-grandchildren, RJ, Alexandria and Alia; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Matthias contributions may be made to a charitable organization of one's own choice.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 10:00 am on Monday, February 10, 2020 at St. Dominic Parish - 4551 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45238. Burial to follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
