Mattie Lillian Middleton

MIDDLETON, Mattie Lillian "Betty", age 84 of Mason, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. She was born in Chattaroy, West Virginia on January 13, 1930 the daughter of Andrew Louis and Maudie Gertrude (Dye) Toshie. Betty was married to Richard "Dick" Middleton in Mason on August 28, 1948.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Dick Middleton, who passed away on May 25, 2014; two brothers, Edward and William Toshie; six sisters, Pearl Fields, Grace Valentine, Gertrude Toshie, Francis Lindstrom, Katherine Carter, and Rose Schwartz; and her son-in-law, Mick Barr. Betty is survived by her seven loving children, Rick Middleton and his wife Holly, Connie Barr, Dayle and her husband David Ritter, Dawn Burns, Carrie and her husband Tim McKevitt, Betsy and her husband Nick Bonno, and Nick Middleton and his wife Jeril; fifteen grandchildren, Nikki and her husband Shane Jarvie, Chris and Casey Barr, Spenser Ritter, Tannah and her husband Kevin Barton, Garrett Burns, Aaron McKevitt and his wife Julie, Troy McKevitt, Toshie and her husband Tyler Condon, Gabi, Anthony, and Tori Bonno, Ryan Middleton and his wife Tori, Nicholas Middleton and Marissa Middleton; two great-granddaughters, Joey and Paige and one on the way, Mattie; six great-grandsons, Brian, Curtis, Cole, Blaine, Brady and Kellen; one sister, Mary Helen Mikac; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held for both Betty and her husband Dick at the Mason United Methodist Church, 6315 South Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040 on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 7:00 pm. A memorial will be held at the church prior to the service from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
