Maureen M. Shoemaker, age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. She was born in Staten Island, New York on May 18, 1934 to Richard and Marion Nolan (nee Collins).
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jay R. McCarty; brother, Richard T. Nolan; aunt, Dorothy Collins. Maureen is survived by her beloved daughters, Barbara (Ramon Garcia Pinal) McCarty Garcia, Donna Jean (Shaun) Cutrell; companion, Gary Ader; grandsons, James Van Allen, Matthew (Quinn) McCarty, Patrick McCarty, Bennett Cutrell, Nolan Cutrell; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth McCarty; sister-in-law, Mary Nolan; niece, Carol (John) Petronella; great-nephew, Collin Petronella; nephew, Richard (Jennifer) Nolan; great-niece, Clare Nolan; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Maureen, contributions may be made to Mercy Health Foundation, 1701 Mercy Health Place, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am Monday, January 28, 2019 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Saint Vivian Catholic Church, 7600 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45224.
